Snow

Could this be next?

Whilst the BBC continues to act largely as though Brazil doesn´t really exist – in particular its small and obscure northern region which we can reveal today is called THE AMAZON – in fact I see that a few reports have trickled through about the current cold front affecting us here, which has seen temperatures plummet to almost 22 degrees.

We were out in the Shamrock today visiting the Tucana indian community near Tupé, and I was sorry I hadn´t brought my woolies with me.

I am told however that this type of phenomenon is not uncommon around the start of the dry season (our “winter” season here), and that it will shortly pass, to be replaced with the usual blisteringly hot days unrelieved by rain.

Well let´s hope so too.
